Over the last 25 years, Boeing, Bayer, Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the CIA, and nearly 400 other organizations have all consulted George Smart for leadership development and executive coaching.
Drawing from an MBA from Duke\'s Fuqua School of Business plus training from the Center for Creative Leadership and the Einstein School of Medicine, George speaks on leadership to Fortune 500 companies and national associations on how to make the workplace less insane and more profitable.
Away from the podium, George plays armchair detective in search of the Knights Templar, special agents of the Pope in the 12th century. His book, The Knights Templar Chronology, has sold literally dozens of copies and a documentary based on his book airs on the History Channel almost every month -- really, really late at night. His second book, The Best of ChangeWisdom, is a collection of quotes on personal and professional change. Currently, he is editor of Triangle Modernist Houses, a historical preservation website for really cool houses.
Before I bring him up, he asked me to share that while he attended UNC Chapel Hill, Duke, and NC State, he roots for .... Clemson.
Please everyone join me in a big welcome for ... George Smart.
